① at hand表示“臨近”，用作表語(yǔ)，也表示“隨身，在手頭，附近”，用作狀語(yǔ)或表語(yǔ)。

The Spring Festival is at hand. 春節(jié)就要到了。

Spring is at hand. 春天快到了。

I haven't that dictionary at hand. 我手頭沒有那本詞典。

I have no money at hand. 我身邊沒帶錢。

She lives close at hand. 她就住在附近。

② at sb.'s hands表示“在……手中（受折磨），受到（某人）的折磨”，也寫作at the hands of sb.。

I suffered a lot at her hands. 我受盡了她的折磨。

③ in hand表示“手上的，著手，控制住”。
