① for one's good意為“為了某人好，為了某人的利益”，這里的good用作名詞，相當(dāng)于benefit，可用作表語(yǔ)或狀語(yǔ)。

② for the good of +指人的名詞也表示“為了某人好，為了某人的利益”，相當(dāng)于for one's good，但是，for the good of結(jié)構(gòu)后只能用名詞，不可用代詞。
