319　be good at，be good to，be good for和be weak in

① be good at意為“擅長(zhǎng)，長(zhǎng)于”，相當(dāng)于 be strong in。

He is good at figures. 他善于計(jì)算。

She is good at music but poor in drawing. 她擅長(zhǎng)音樂(lè)，但拙于繪畫(huà)。

This cat is good at catching rats. 這只貓很會(huì)捉老鼠。

I am sure she will be very good at her major. 我堅(jiān)信她的專業(yè)課會(huì)學(xué)得很不錯(cuò)的。

② be good to意為“對(duì)……好，對(duì)……態(tài)度好；在……方面好”。

Chicken soup is good to the taste. 雞湯的味道好。（=Chicken soup is nice to taste.）

A father should be good to his children. 父親對(duì)孩子應(yīng)該慈愛(ài)。

③ be good for意為“有益于；對(duì)……有效；勝任”。

It is good for the health to take a walk in the morning. 清晨散步有益于健康。

This licence is good for one year. 這張執(zhí)照有效期是1年。

The little boy is good for another two miles. 這小男孩還能再走兩英里。
