384　incident，accident和event

① incident為普通用語，指“事件”；也可表示“事端”，指政治上的引起國(guó)際紛爭(zhēng)或戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的事件。

She told us about some of the amusing incidents of her holiday. 她給我們講她假期里的一些趣事。

A serious incident along the border increased our fear of war. 邊境上一次嚴(yán)重事件增加了我們對(duì)戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的恐懼。

② accident特指不幸的意外事故，如車禍、火災(zāi)、跌傷等。

③ event指大的活動(dòng)，重大事件或具有歷史意義的大事件。
