553　prepare用法難點

① prepare意為“準備，預備”，可用作及物動詞或不及物動詞，結(jié)構(gòu)為：

prepare sth.

prepare sb.+sth. （雙賓語）

prepare to do sth.

prepare sb. to do sth.

She is preparing her lessons. 她在準備功課。

She prepared them a big supper. 她為他們準備了一頓豐盛的晚餐。

He turned around and prepared to go downstairs. 他轉(zhuǎn)過身來，準備下樓去。

He is preparing them to go on a holiday. 他在為他們?nèi)ザ燃僮鰷蕚洹?

He is preparing supper. 他在做晚飯。（prepare的賓語必須是prepare動作的承受者）

He laid the table，preparing for supper. 他擺好了桌子，準備吃晚飯。

② be prepared for sth.表示“為……做好準備”，意同be ready for，表示狀態(tài)；be prepared to do sth.表示“做（好）準備干什么”。

He is prepared for the question. 他對那個問題已有準備。

They are prepared for the worst. 他們對最壞的事情做好了準備。

She is prepared to do the work. 她已準備好做那項工作。
