① pretend常用作及物動詞，意為“假裝，佯裝”，結(jié)構(gòu)為：

pretend sth. （illness，sleep，a headache）

pretend to do sth.

pretend to be doing sth. （假裝正在干什么）

pretend+that從句

He pretended illness. 他裝病。

Don't pretend to know what you don't know. 不要不懂裝懂。

She pretended to be reading when I came in. 我進來時，她假裝正在看書。

He pretended not to see me. 他假裝沒看見我。

=He pretended that he didn't see me.

He pretended that he had a headache. 他假裝頭痛。
