The Indonesian port city of the Surabaya has experienced its 4th suicide bombing in 2 days. The latest blast occurred outside police station wounding 4 officers and several others. Police say a family of 5 drove up to a checkpoint near the police building on 2 motorbikes and set off explosives. The authorities have linked the main attacker from the police station explosion to the man who they say orchestrated 3 suicide attacks on churches on Sunday noting that the men were close friends.

Partial results from Saturday's parliamentary elections in Iraq suggest the alliance led by the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is trailing behind 2 other political groups. With most votes counted, a bloc headed by the cleric Moqtada Sadr and another led by a militia leader are ahead.

At least 60 people have died in fierce dust storms in India. Officials said the northern state of Uttar Pradesh has borne the brunt of Sunday's violent weather. Local reports say that the high winds and lightning devastated many villages.

His dream of reaching the top of world's highest mountain suffered a setback 6 months ago when the Nepalese government banned double amputees, blind and solo mountaineers, but the courts set aside the ruling. Mr. Xia has made a series of previous attempts.
