　　start on 開始某事

　　像 work on 一樣，on 表示某種作業(yè)的對象，start on 表示“開始某事（作業(yè)）”，“使用某物”等。另外，start in on 則表示“譴責(zé)某人”，“抱怨某人”等。

　　例句：

　　Sorry I couldn't start on your case sooner.

　　對不起，我不能盡快著手你的案例。

　　You can start on your essay now.

　　你現(xiàn)在可以開始寫論文了。

　　I told her I was going to leave her and then she started in on me.

　　我跟她說要離開她，她就開始鬧我了。

　　對話：

　　A: The class is waiting to take the exam.
