     A：I'm afraid you're the problem.
     B：What do you mean？
     A：We're going to have to let you go.
     B：Why？I'm the hardest-working person here.
     A：Well，you do seem to keep busy，but your work does not meet the quality that we require from our employees.Additionally，you don't work well with the other employees.

     A：I'm afraid it's too late.We are downsizing our work force and you'll have to go.
     B：It's unfair.
     A：We can give you the option of resigning rather than being eliminated because it will look better on your résumé when you apply for another job if you resign.B：OK.I need to think about that for a while.
     （胡強被解雇了。）
     A：很遺憾，我們得讓你走了。
     B：為什么？我工作非常努力。

     B：It's a long story.In short，I didn't do a good job of it，messed up a business deal，a deal that would make ten million dollars and I messed it up.
     A：I'm sorry，man.Then what are you going to do now？
     B：I'm looking for a job.Mary doesn't know yet.I spent the last several days at a coffee store.A：That's not the way to solve the problem.

     A：嗨，老兄！好久沒見了，忙什么呢？

     A：But，our business is going down sharply these couple of months.And we've to reduce some staff.。

     B：You mean I'm among the people who have to go？
     A：I'm afraid so.
     B：Did I do something wrong？
     A：Well，you're the sales manager.But our sales don't go up.
     B：But you know I've been working very hard.And I have family to support.
     A：I feel sorry，but that's the decision of the directorate.
     A：迪克，請進來一下。
     B：好的，史密斯先生。
