If we’re not careful, we don’t notice that the days are passing us by. We take the paths of least resistance, sticking(v.粘住) within our comfort zone. We watch TV all evening rather than learn skills that will help us advance. We put up with(v.忍受，容忍) unwarranted(adj.無根據(jù)的) criticism, we passively submit to(v.屈服于) requests rather than assert our needs. We allow a lack of confidence to pass up(v.拒絕) on an opportunity.

Looking back over the past year, or even the past week, by doing things and stretching myself (v. 拓展自我，做平時(shí)不做的事) that I feel I have made the most of(v.充分利用) my days. Or as the quote says, I would live it the same way if allowed to repeat it. But, to use another cliché(n.老生常談), life is not a rehearsal - there is no replay button. Moreover there is no erase and record again facility!

如果我們不在意，我們不會(huì)留意到日子在一天天的逝去。我們選擇最少阻礙的道路，固守于舒適的環(huán)境中。整晚我們看電視，而不是去學(xué)習(xí)提高自我的技藝。我們?nèi)淌芎翢o根據(jù)的批評(píng)，我們被動(dòng)地服從指令，而不是坦言自己的需求。我們坐視信心的缺乏，拒絕機(jī)會(huì)。

回頭看看過去的這些年，或者僅僅是過去的一周，對(duì)于所做的事和我所做的努力，你覺得我已經(jīng)充分利用了我的時(shí)間?；蛘呷缫乃f，如果可以重復(fù)來過，我會(huì)用同樣的方式度過。但是，用一個(gè)我們常掛在嘴邊所說的，生命沒有預(yù)演——它沒有重放按鈕。它同樣也沒有刪除和記錄功能。
