I asked my friend why she wanted to divorce her husband. She answered, "Every time I sit on his lap, he starts dictating letters".

我問我朋友為什么她要和丈夫離婚。

2.She answered,"Every time I sit on his lap, he starts dictating letters."

她回答：“每次我坐在他大腿上時(shí)，他就開始口述信件。”

“lap”是指“(人坐著時(shí))腰以下到膝為止的大腿部”。因?yàn)楣P記本電腦是可以放在大腿(lap)上(top)的電腦，所以稱為 laptop。“dictate”在這里表示“使(人)聽寫”?如：The teacher dictated vocabulary words to the students.老師讓同學(xué)聽寫單詞。

所以每當(dāng)妻子坐在他大腿上，他就感覺好像回到了辦公室，秘書(secretary)坐在他大腿上的場景，就不知不覺地口述起信來了，與秘書的風(fēng)流韻事(affkir)因此曝光!
