Shake Hands
A wife said this to her husband. "Honey, do you know how close I came to marrying Sam before I married you?"
He replied，"Now I know why he smiles and shakes my hand so warmly whenever we meet."

有一個(gè)妻子對(duì)他丈夫說。
2. "Honey, do you know how close I came to marrying Sam before I married you?"
“親愛的，你知道我在嫁給你之前差點(diǎn)嫁給山姆嗎?
句中的"come to"是表示“達(dá)到某種狀態(tài)或結(jié)果”，其后的to是介詞，后面要接動(dòng)名詞或名詞，如：The plan came to nothing.計(jì)劃落空了。
3. He replied，"Now I know why he smiles and shakes my hand so warmly whenever we meet."
他回答：“現(xiàn)在我終于知道我們每次見面，山姆為什么會(huì)微笑并與我熱烈握手了。”
看來山姆對(duì)這位丈夫的感謝溢于言表，也許山姆在想：“你是我的救星!”
