1. One page, concise, easy-to-read format 一頁、簡潔、排版清晰
One page is the optimal length for most entry and mid-level positions: 大多數(shù)入門或中層職位,一頁簡歷是最佳長度

5. Lead with an executive summary 寫一段自我概括

Put the summary right after your contact details: 概述應該放在簡歷最開頭,聯(lián)絡信息下
Instead of labeling it "summary", use your expertise as the header: 不要給摘要起名"summary", 直接把你的專長和優(yōu)勢作為題目
6. Use keywords in the job description 簡歷里體現(xiàn)招聘職位的關鍵詞
Use keywords in the job description throughout your résumé to show that you have the right experience and skillset: 招聘廣告職位描述里出現(xiàn)的關鍵詞、能力應該不斷出現(xiàn)在你的簡歷里, 體現(xiàn)你擁有最匹配的經(jīng)驗和能力
7. Do not include irrelevant experiences 不相關的工作經(jīng)歷不要寫
If you do not have relevant experiences, your chances of getting an interview and getting the job are probably low: 如果你沒有任何和這個職位相關的經(jīng)驗,老實說,成功幾率也不高
8. Use data and results whereever possible 用數(shù)字說話
Use data to support your claim of skills: 用數(shù)字體現(xiàn)你的能力
Use results by action sentence structure: 使用“做了什么達到什么成果”的句型
9. List education at the end of the résumé 教育背景放最后
If you are a recent graduate, try to highlight your internship experience as much as possible: 如果你是應屆畢業(yè)生,多花點篇幅描述實習經(jīng)驗,不要只說學校的成績

10. Remove empty statements like "a passionate individual looking for an opportunity to grow" 空話、廢話不要說
Hiring managers are focused on finding the right hire: 用人單位想找到最適合這個職位的人選
Empty statements do not increase your chances: 空話不會增加你的機會
11. Subject line, attachment name 郵件主題、附件名稱
The subject of your email should be the job position and your name
發(fā)送簡歷時,email的主題應該是你應聘的職位名、你的名字, 讓招聘經(jīng)理一目了然
The name of the attachment should also follow the same rule: 附件的文件名也應該一樣; 千萬不要是亂碼、數(shù)字;
