There's a merry brown thrush sitting up in a tree;

一只歡樂(lè)的棕色畫(huà)眉鳥(niǎo)坐在樹(shù)枝上；

" He's singing to me! he's singing to me!"

And what does he say, little girl, little boy?

小女孩，小男孩，他在說(shuō)什么？

Oh, the world's running over with joy!

哦，世界將一直充滿歡樂(lè)！

Don't You hear? Don't you see?

難道你聽(tīng)不見(jiàn)？難道你看不出？

Hush! look! In my tree

安靜！看吶！在我的樹(shù)上

I'm as happy as happy can be!

我要多快樂(lè)有多快樂(lè)！

And the brown thrush keeps singing, A nest do you see,

棕色畫(huà)眉一直在唱著，你看到鳥(niǎo)巢了么？

And five eggs hid by me in the juniper tree?

看到被我藏在杜松樹(shù)上的五顆蛋了么？

Don't meddle! don't touch! little girl, little boy,

別搗亂！別碰！小女孩，小男孩，

Or the world will lose some of its joy!

否則世界將會(huì)失去一些歡樂(lè)！

Now I'm glad! now I'm free!
