Come to the sunset tree,
來到落日樹旁，
The day is past and gone;
白天一去不復(fù)返；
The woodman's ax lies free,
伐木工的斧頭隨意躺著，
And the reaper's work is done;
收割者的工作已經(jīng)完成；
The twilight star to heaven,
暮色里的星星掛在天邊。
And the summer dew to flowers,
夏天露著的花朵，
And rest to us is given,
我們也可以休息了。
By the soft evening hours.
到了柔和的傍晚時間，
Sweet is the hour of rest,
休息的時光是甜蜜的，
Pleasant the woods' low sigh,
樹木的低聲嘆息是多么令人愉快，
And the gleaming of the west,
西邊閃著光芒，
And the turf whereon we lie,
我們躺在草地上，
When the burden and the heat, Of the laborer's task is o'er,

And kindly voices greet the tired one at the door.
親切的聲音在門口問候著疲憊的人兒。
Yes, tuneful is the sound that dwells in whispering boughs:
是的，低語的枝頭間存在和諧悅耳的聲音；
Welcome the freshness round,
歡迎周圍新鮮的感覺，
And the gale that fans our brows;
以及吹拂額頭的一陣風(fēng)，
But rest more sweet and still
但是夜晚給予的
Than ever the nightfall gave,
安穩(wěn)更加甜蜜、寧靜，
Our yearning hearts shall fill,

There, shall no tempests blow,
