Germany is banning gatherings of more than two people in public outside work, as part of a stringent measure to try to stem the flow of corona virus pandemic. The blamers say householders exempt. Chancellor Angola Merkle's quarantined herself after coming into contact with a doctor who has got the virus. The number of cases in German have been climbing rapidly.

德國發(fā)布嚴(yán)格措施 ,禁止兩人以上在公共場所戶外工作,目的是阻止冠狀病毒的傳播。戶主可以豁免。德國總理默克爾在與一名感染病毒的醫(yī)生接觸后將自己隔離。德國的病例數(shù)量一直在迅速攀升。

Italy says another 651 people with corona virus have died in the last 24 hours, but the figure is less than that's announced on Saturday. Spain says 394 patients have died there, the worst daily figure yet in that country. Greece is now the latest country to announce a total ban on non-essential movements.

New York's mayor Bill de Blasio has warned the city will face severe shortages of hospital supplies, unless the federal government pursues a more aggressive approach to the public health crisis. Nearly 8,000 people now have the corona virus in the city, and 60 have died.

23 people have died in a prison riot in the Colombia capital Bogota. The inmates were protesting against overcrowding and poorer health service during the pandemic. There has been protests in both men and women's jails all over Colombia.
