iii. 分詞作表語(yǔ)

1. 現(xiàn)在分詞作表語(yǔ)表示分詞主語(yǔ)所具有的特征和性質(zhì)時(shí)，主語(yǔ)多是物。

The game is very exciting.

這個(gè)比賽很令人激動(dòng)。

The music is much pleasing to the ears.

這音樂(lè)很悅耳。

He was surprised at the news as the news was really very surprising .

聽到這個(gè)消息他很吃驚，因?yàn)檫@消息確實(shí)令人吃驚。

2. 過(guò)去分詞作表語(yǔ)表示主語(yǔ)所處的狀態(tài)，邏輯上成被動(dòng)關(guān)系時(shí)，主語(yǔ)多是人。

He's gone .

他走了。

You are mistaken .

你錯(cuò)了。

He was moved to tears by the film.

他被電影感動(dòng)得流下了眼淚。

3. 分詞和動(dòng)名詞都可以作表語(yǔ)，分詞作表語(yǔ)是對(duì)主語(yǔ)進(jìn)行描述，而動(dòng)名詞作表語(yǔ)說(shuō)明主語(yǔ)的內(nèi)容。

My job is teaching .

我的工作是教書。

The news was surprising .

這消息令人吃驚。

The most important thing is giving the new generation a good education.

最重要的事情是給新一代良好的教育。
