（1）地點(diǎn)狀語從句通常由where引導(dǎo)，并且一般放在主句后邊。
a.Stay where you are.　待在原處別動(dòng)。
b.Generally, air will be heavily polluted where there are factories.
一般在有工廠的地方空氣污染都會(huì)很嚴(yán)重。
c.A driver should slow down where there are schools.
在有學(xué)校的地方，司機(jī)應(yīng)緩行。
（2）也可由wherever，anywhere和everywhere引導(dǎo)地點(diǎn)狀語從句。
a. Wherever he happens to be, Clint can make himself at home.
無論在什么地方，克林特總能夠無拘無束。
b. Everywhere they appeared, there were ovations.
他們在哪里都受到熱烈歡迎。
（3）地點(diǎn)狀語從句若放在句首，往往失去地點(diǎn)含義，翻譯時(shí)要靈活處理。
a. Wherever there is love , there is also wealth and success!
只要有愛，就會(huì)有財(cái)富和成功。
b. Where there is pain , we wish you peace and mercy.
當(dāng)你感到痛苦時(shí)，祝福你能保持內(nèi)心的平靜與慈悲。
c. Where there is self-doubt , we wish you a renewed confidence in your ability to work through them.
當(dāng)你對自己感到懷疑時(shí)，祝福你重新找回對自己能力的信心去奮力開創(chuàng)新局面。
d. Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion , we wish you understanding, patience and renewed strength.
當(dāng)你感到身心疲憊時(shí)，祝福你能理解、忍耐，并重新獲取力量。
e. Where there is fear, we wish you love and courage.
當(dāng)你感到恐懼時(shí)，祝福你得到愛和勇氣。
