很多人建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系的效果往往取決于第一次的交往。首先,介紹自己公司的材料信息要豐富、扎實(shí),能抓住對方的興趣,使人覺得有利可圖。其次,要詳細(xì)出為什么要建立這種業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系,以及會給雙方帶來多大的利益。再次,對未來要有清楚的商業(yè)規(guī)劃。對方如果感興趣會接著問你很多細(xì)節(jié)。因此必須充分準(zhǔn)備,對自己的情況和未來規(guī)劃一清二楚。同時(shí)還要把自己的團(tuán)隊(duì)介紹好,有些人十分看重團(tuán)隊(duì)的資格和素質(zhì)。

接著可以邀請對方訪問自己的公司。除了詳細(xì)介紹外,還要帶對方參觀,這樣才能給對方好的印象。處處從小事做起,完善每個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)才能更有把握獲得對方的信賴,并最終成功建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系。

interest in是一個(gè)常見的搭配,表示對……感興趣。

當(dāng)有意建立往來的時(shí)候你會說

assure在此處是保證的意思,誠懇的態(tài)度是合作成功不可或缺的前提。

coincide with是符合,與……相一致的意思。

我此行的目的是了解與貴公司建立貿(mào)易關(guān)系的可能性。

Our purpose is to explore possibilities of developing trade with you.

我們想與你們研究一下發(fā)展貿(mào)易的可能性。

We look forward to reactivating our business relationship.

我們盼望我們之間的業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系重新活躍起來。

I'd like to know some information about the current investment environment in your country.

我想了解一下你們國家目前的投資環(huán)境。

I'm here to ask about your new washing machines.

我來此詢問有關(guān)貴公司的新型洗衣機(jī)的情況。

I'm here to get to know if we have any possibility of further cooperation.

我來這兒是想知道我們是否有可能進(jìn)一步合作。

look forward to在此處的作用相當(dāng)于expect,表示“期望,盼望”。

找負(fù)責(zé)人

A:Can I see your chief?

我能見一見你們的負(fù)責(zé)人嗎?

B:I am the person who is in charge of the department.

我就是這個(gè)部分的負(fù)責(zé)人。

Are you the chief here?

你是這里的負(fù)責(zé)人嗎?

Is your chief in at the moment?

你們的負(fù)責(zé)人現(xiàn)在在這嗎?

in charge of是指掌管,負(fù)責(zé)的意思。此處應(yīng)注意與in the charge of的區(qū)別,in the charge of是指由……掌管,由……負(fù)責(zé)。例如:The project is in the charge of an experienced worker.這項(xiàng)工程是由一位有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的工人負(fù)責(zé)的。

詢問信息

A:Is there anything I can show you now?

有什么事情需要我現(xiàn)在告訴你的嗎?

B:You're developing a new system, really?

你們在開發(fā)一套新系統(tǒng),是真的嗎?

May we ask the names of your banks?

能否請問貴公司往來銀行的名稱?

so that是“以便”的意思。例如:He got up early so that he could catch the first bus.他早早就起床了,以便能趕上首班公共汽車。

合作意向

A:We are willing to enter into business relations with your firms.

我們愿與貴公司建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系。

B:Your desire to establish direct business relations with us coincides with ours.

你方愿意與我方建立貿(mào)易關(guān)系,這正合我意。

Having been deeply interested in the quality of your products, we are desirous of opening an account with you.

本公司對貴方的產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量一直很感興趣,欲與貴方進(jìn)行交易。

We hope to trade with you.

我們希望跟你們做生意。

We are willing to enter into business relationship with your company on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.

我們愿意在平等互利的基礎(chǔ)之上與貴公司建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系。

trade with sb.是指與某人做生意

enter into是“進(jìn)入”的意思。在本句中,直譯就是“進(jìn)入業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系”,實(shí)際上也就是“建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系”的意思。

場景應(yīng)用

卡爾先生第一次來中國,他想和吳先生的公司建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系。但由于對中國的對外貿(mào)易政策不是很了解,所以需要吳先生的介紹來解除自己的顧慮。

A:Nice to meet you, Mr. Wu.

B:Nice to meet you, too. I understand this is your first visit to our company.

A:Yes, and also my first trip to China.

B:I hope you've had a pleasant trip.

A:I did, thank you. The main purpose of my coming here is to inquire about possibilities of establishing trade relations with your company.

B:What line of business are you in?

A:We mainly trade in arts and crafts. I learned from the ads that you manufacture and sell this kind of products.

B:Yes, we do. You've come to right place. We're the biggest arts and crafts manufacturing company in Asia. Our products are easy on the eyes, and they compares favorably with those of other countries in both quality and price.

A:I'm glad to hear that. But you know this is my first visit to China and also my first time to make contact with you. So I'd like to know something about your foreign trade policy.

B:Our foreign trade policy has been based on equality and mutual benefit and exchange of needed goods. Establishing business relations between us will be good for our mutual benefit.

A:That's very nice.

A:見到您很高興,吳先生。

B:見到您我也很高興。我知道這是您第一次來我們公司。

A:是的,這也是我第一次來中國。

B:希望您旅途愉快。

A:我很愉快,謝謝。我此行的主要目的是想了解一下與貴公司建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系的可能性。

B:你們主要經(jīng)營什么?

A:我們公司主要經(jīng)營工藝品。我從廣告上得知你們生產(chǎn)和銷售這種產(chǎn)品。

B:是的,你來對地方了。我們是亞洲最大的工藝品制造公司。我們的產(chǎn)品很吸引人,并且在品質(zhì)和價(jià)格上足以同任何國家的產(chǎn)品相比。

A:聽到這些我很高興。但是您知道,這是我第一次來中國,也是第一次和你們打交道。因此我想了解一下你們的對外貿(mào)易政策。

B:我們的對外貿(mào)易政策一直是建立在平等互利和互通有無的基礎(chǔ)上的。我們之間建立業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系對雙方都非常有利。

A:那非常好。

easy on the eyes表示好看,吸引人,既可指人也可指物。從字面上看,該習(xí)語很像漢語中的一個(gè)常用語“很容易上眼”,引申義即為“好看,吸引人”。多可用來表示某物很美,很吸引人。對顧客來說精美的廣告往往比較容易吸引眼球。在今天這個(gè)時(shí)代,該習(xí)語是仍然比較常用的為數(shù)不多的儉樸說法之一。

李先生給美國的泰勒先生發(fā)了郵件介紹了自己的產(chǎn)品,泰勒先生對產(chǎn)品很感興趣,特意來到ABC公司,找到李先生面談。

A:I found some of your products to be fine in quality and beautiful in design. And I've gone over the catalogue and the pamphlets enclosed in your last letter. I've got some idea of your exports. Your silk blouses turn me on.

B:Our silk is known for its good quality. It is one of our traditional exports. Silk blouses are brightly colored and beautifully designed. They've met with great favor overseas and are always in great demand.

A:Some of them seem to be of the latest style. Now I've a feeling that we can do a lot of trade in this line. We wish to establish relations with you.

B:Your desire coincides with ours.

A:Concerning our financial position, credit standing and trade reputation, you may refer to Beijing Bank, or to our local Chamber of Commerce or inquiry agencies.

B:Thank you for your information. As you know, our corporation is a stateoperated one. We always trade with foreign countries on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. Establishing business relations between us will be to our mutual benefit. I have no doubt that it will bring about closer ties between us.

A:That sounds interesting. I'll send a fax back. As soon as I receive a definite answer, I'll make a specific inquiry.

B:We'll then make an offer as soon as possible. I hope a lot of business will be conducted between us.

A:你們有些產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量不錯,設(shè)計(jì)又美觀。我已看過你上次在信中所附的目錄和小冊子,對貴公司的出口產(chǎn)品有了一些了解。我對你們的絲綢女衫頗感興趣。

B:我們雙方的愿望是一致的。

A:關(guān)于我們的財(cái)務(wù)狀況、信用及聲譽(yù),你們可以向北京銀行、我們的當(dāng)?shù)厣虝虼砩踢M(jìn)行了解。

on the basis of根據(jù),在……的基礎(chǔ)上

例如:The practice was often justified on the basis of economics.

實(shí)踐往往是根據(jù)經(jīng)濟(jì)決定的。
