過去進(jìn)行時(shí)主要表示過去某一時(shí)刻或某一階段正在發(fā)生或進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作。
1．表示過去某一時(shí)刻內(nèi)正在進(jìn)行或發(fā)生的動(dòng)作，常與at 7 o'clock ，at that time 等表示具體時(shí)間的短語連用。
Mike was writing a letter at that time. 邁克那時(shí)正在寫信。
2．表示過去某一段時(shí)間內(nèi)一直在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作，常與last week ，last year 等表示一段時(shí)間的短語連用。
The baby was playing with a doll last week. 上個(gè)星期這個(gè)寶寶一直在玩一個(gè)布娃娃。
3．表示一個(gè)動(dòng)作發(fā)生時(shí)，另一個(gè)動(dòng)作正在進(jìn)行。
