1　school 通常指中、小學，也用于指培養(yǎng)特殊技能的藝術(shù)院校、師范院校等。

2　college 在英國指university 中的各學院；college 在美國一般指專科大學，也指university中的各學院。

There are fifteen colleges in the university. 這所大學里有15個學院。

Our college is about twenty miles from here. 我們學院離這里大約有20英里。

3　university 通常指綜合性大學。

His son studies at Beijing University . 他兒子在北京大學讀書。

My mother graduated from Oxford University . 我母親畢業(yè)于牛津大學。
