Keep a list of successes, big and small. It’ll help you to see your abilities in a more positive (andrealistic) light.

3. Don’t compare.
不要和別人比較。
Stop measuring yourself against others. What you see isn’t always real. Making comparisons is a damaging and aninaccuratemeasureof success anyway.
不要再拿自己和別人比較了。你看到的并不總是真相。無論如何,與別人比較都是對成功的一種破壞性和錯誤性的衡量。
4. Dress forconfidence.

How we dress affects both how we feel about ourselves and the way othersperceiveus. Expensive clothes aren’t necessary. Putemphasison good fit, good condition, andappropriateness. Don’t be afraid of some color; black isprofessional, but color gets noticed.

6. Learn.
學(xué)習(xí)。
The more knowledge youacquire, the moreconfidentyou will be. Knowledge is power, and the more powerful you feel, the higher yourconfidencewill be. 學(xué)的越多,人就越自信。知識就是力量,知識越豐富,人就越自信。

健身。
Better physical condition andappearancegives you more bodyconfidence, and as abonus, the extra endorphins give you an added energyboost.

8. Start aconversation.
主動和別人攀談
When you find yourself in asocialsituation, instead of gravitating to those people you’re comfortable with, start aconversationwith someone you don’t know very well.Eventuallygetting to know new people will become easier.

10. Raise your hand.
毛遂自薦。
Volunteer to take on tasks or projects that are astretchfor you. You’ll learn you can do more than you thought you could and so will others.
主動承擔(dān)那些能拓展你的能力的項目或工程。你會發(fā)現(xiàn)你比想象的更加能干,這是一條放之四海而皆準(zhǔn)的真理。
11. Be aroundconfidentpeople.
和自信的人在一起。
Cultivate relationships with “can-do” people; attitude iscontagious. On the other hand,avoid“can’t do” people. It works both ways.
多與自信的人交往;態(tài)度是具有感染力的。另一方面,也要盡量避開不自信的消極人士,兩種方式都會起作用。
12. Be your own friend.
做自己的朋友。
When you hear that voice in your head, abusing, attacking and belittling you, remind yourself that a friend wouldn’t talk to you in that manner.

13. Rely on your instincts.

Practice the skills you need to succeed. The more you practice, the moreconfidentyou become. This is true of every type of skill.
