歌手介紹：

Seal全名Seal Henry Samuel，于1963年2月19日出生在英國倫敦，他是一名混血兒，父母分別是自尼日利亞人和巴西人。自上世紀90年代以來，Seal一直都是英國最受歡迎的男歌手之一，90年代中期以后，他把靈魂樂，民謠，搖滾，舞曲等不同的風格融入到自己的音樂中去，自成一派，使他不僅在英國保持了強大的號召力，而且還逐步贏得了美國音樂界的認可。

　　Seal并不是一名少年成名的藝術家，在大學畢業(yè)獲得建筑專業(yè)的學位以后，他在倫敦先后找了許多不同的工作，包括電力工程師和皮裝設計師等等。

而他的音樂歷程也是十分曲折的，最初他只是在英國的酒吧內唱歌，后來加入了英國的一支瘋克(Funk)樂隊Push。80年代中后期，在樂隊的亞洲巡回演唱會結束以后，他又加盟了泰國的一支樂隊。

然而在泰國的日子并不太久，離開泰國并且經過了印度之旅以后，Seal又回到了英國。

　　不久，Seal結識了音樂制作人Adamski，Seal的嗓音和演唱功力很快震動了Adamski。1990年，在Adamski的協(xié)助下，Seal發(fā)行了一張EP唱片《Killer》，這張專輯很快在英國成為了排行榜冠軍，這張EP專輯的成功，為Seal帶來了一份自己的合同。

他的首張正式專輯《Seal(1991)》在1991年6月11日發(fā)行，擔任制作人的是曾經為Frankie Goes to Hollywood樂隊制作專輯的前the Buggles樂隊成員Trevor Horn。

這張專輯中誕生了許多首非常優(yōu)秀的單曲，無論在英國還是在美國都獲得了相當大程度的成功，專輯總銷量超過了三百萬張。在專輯發(fā)行之后他又參加了向吉他之神Jimi Hendrix獻禮的專輯《Stone Free》的錄制。

　　1994年他的第二張專輯繼續(xù)以"Seal"命名，稱作《Seal(1994)》。這是Seal最為成功的專輯，其中的單曲《Kiss From a Rose》不僅入選了電影《永遠的蝙蝠俠(Batman Forever)》的原聲大碟，更重要的是為他在1995年度第38屆格萊美獎中贏得了年度最佳唱片(Record Of The Year)，年度最佳歌曲(Song Of The Year)，最佳流行男歌手(Best Male Pop Vocal Performance)三尊分量十足的獎杯。
