托福詞匯之“跨國婚姻mixed marriage”

　　近年來，隨著社會和經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展，跨國婚姻已經(jīng)不是名人的專利，越來越多的普通老百姓也加入到了跨國婚姻的行列。請看《中國日報》相關(guān)報道：

　　報道稱，去年我國登記的跨國婚姻有6萬8千對，比2005年多4千對。跨國婚姻增多的主要原因是我國經(jīng)濟(jì)高速發(fā)展所帶來的頻繁移民。

　　這里的“mixed marriage”指的就是“跨國婚姻”。“Mixed”是“混合的”意思，“跨國婚姻”也就是兩個不同國家、不同民族的人的聯(lián)姻。常見的與“mixed”組成的合成詞還有：“mixed blood”(混血兒)、“mixed economy”(混合經(jīng)濟(jì))和“mixed salad”(什錦沙拉)。

　　此外，還可以用“interracial marriages” 來表示跨國婚姻。
