中國民航局宣布一件大事！飛機上將可以玩手機了！

The decision was based on the development of in-flight portable electronic devices and international research findings, Zhu told reporters.

朱濤告訴記者，民航總局基于飛行中便攜式電子設備的演變以及國際研究的發(fā)現做出該決定。

Currently, Chinese aviation regulation allows passengers to use electronic devices like laptops or tablets on flights after take-off and before landing, but mobile phones must be turned off for safety reasons.

目前，中國航空法規(guī)允許乘客在飛機起飛后、落地前使用手提電腦或平板電腦等電子設備，但出于安全考慮，乘客必須關閉手機。

Electromagnetic interference to aircraft systems is a common argument offered for banning mobile phones (and other electronic devices) on planes. Theoretically, active radio transmitters such as mobile phones, walkie–talkies, portable computers or gaming devices may interfere with the aircraft. Non-transmitting electronic devices also emit electromagnetic radiation, although typically at a lower power level, and could also theoretically affect the aircraft electronics.

禁止在飛機上使用手機(以及其他電子設備)的一個普遍理由是，這些設備會對飛行系統(tǒng)產生電磁干擾。從理論上講，活躍的無線電發(fā)射器，如手機、對講機、手提電腦或游戲機都可能對飛機產生干擾。非無線電發(fā)射電子設備存在電磁輻射，雖然其功率水平通常較低，但在理論上也可能影響飛機的電子設備。

The British CAA report doesn't make any case at all against cell phones, other than it is probably best that the pilots do not use them in the cockpits, during critical modes of navigation (because the phones would then be so close to the navigation equipment).

An aviation safety database maintained by NASA shows a handful of incidents each year reported by pilots who suspected cell phones and other electronic devices had caused a problem during flight. Despite these reports, not a single air crash has been proven to be caused by the use of a cell phone onboard a plane.
