金正恩之妹將出席平昌冬奧會開幕式

The sister of North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un will attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in South Korea this week.

朝鮮最高領(lǐng)導人金正恩(Kim Jong Un)的妹妹本周將出席韓國冬奧會(Winter Olympics)開幕式。

The South's unification ministry said Kim Yo Jong would come as part of a high-level delegation to the games in Pyeongchang.

韓國統(tǒng)一部表示，金與正(Kim Yo Jong)將作為朝鮮派出的高級別代表團的成員出席平昌(Pyeongchang)冬奧會。

The participation of Ms Kim – who is a close adviser to her brother – will bolster hopes in Seoul that the Olympics can be used to defuse tensions on the peninsula and usher in a period of diplomatic engagement.

作為其兄金正恩親密顧問的金與正加入朝方代表團，將提振首爾方面對于利用此次奧運會來緩和半島緊張、迎來外交接觸新時期的希望。

Also attending will be Ri Son Gwon, chairman of the agency that oversees inter-Korean relations, the ministry said.

韓國統(tǒng)一部表示，朝鮮負責朝韓關(guān)系的祖國和平統(tǒng)一委員會(Committee for Peaceful Reunification)的委員長李善權(quán)(Ri Son Gwon)也將出席本屆冬奧會。
