文化和旅游部抓緊部署暑期旅游安全工作

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China last Saturday released an urgent circular on ensuring summer travel safety.

上周六，中華人民共和國(guó)文化和旅游部印發(fā)了關(guān)于確保暑期旅游安全工作的緊急通知。

According to the circular, tourism departments across the country should strengthen connections with meteorological, ocean, land and resources and other departments, to deliver accurate forecasts and timely alerts for severe water and weather conditions.

根據(jù)通知，全國(guó)各地旅游部門應(yīng)加強(qiáng)與氣象、海洋、國(guó)土資源等部門的聯(lián)系，以發(fā)布嚴(yán)重水情及惡劣天氣的準(zhǔn)確預(yù)測(cè)預(yù)報(bào)。

Security checks against hidden risks should be carried out at tourist destinations based on summer tourism, the circular says, asking the departments to urge travel agencies to pay close attention to alerts and organize appropriate routes.

該通知稱，根據(jù)夏季旅行在旅游目的地進(jìn)行安全隱患排查，要求各部門督促旅行社密切關(guān)注警報(bào)并安排旅游線路。

The ministry called for more education on travel safety, especially for independent travelers, whose awareness of risk prevention should be enhanced.

該部門呼吁加強(qiáng)對(duì)旅行安全的教育，特別是對(duì)獨(dú)立旅行者，他們對(duì)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)預(yù)防的認(rèn)識(shí)應(yīng)該得到加強(qiáng)。

As for overseas independent trips, the ministry stressed the importance of examining online travel companies, platforms and agencies and their travel products, stating that those unqualified must be taken down, while tourists should demand tips from the agencies forhigh-risk travel plans.

針對(duì)出境自助游，該部門強(qiáng)調(diào)了對(duì)在線旅游企業(yè)和平臺(tái)、旅行社極其旅游產(chǎn)品排查的重要性，稱不合格自助游產(chǎn)品須下架，并稱游客應(yīng)要求旅行機(jī)構(gòu)提供高風(fēng)險(xiǎn)旅游計(jì)劃提示。

The circular was released after two boats carrying 127 Chinese tourists capsized in a storm off the coast of Phuket Island in Thailand.

近日，載有127名中國(guó)游客的兩艘游船在泰國(guó)普吉島附近海域遭遇暴風(fēng)雨，發(fā)生傾覆，該通知便是在該事故后發(fā)布的。

At least 42 people were dead and 14 others remained missing, Thai officials said last Saturday.

泰國(guó)官員上周六表示，目前事故已造成至少42人死亡，14人仍下落不明。
