朝韓領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人宣布將共同申辦2032年夏季奧運(yùn)會

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in said in a statement last Wednesday that the countries planned to jointly bid for the 2032 Summer Olympics.

上周三，朝鮮領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人金正恩和韓國總統(tǒng)文在寅發(fā)表聲明稱，朝韓兩國計劃共同申辦2032年夏季奧運(yùn)會。

At a major summit, the two leaders gave no details of which cities might host certain events at the games, or how advanced the plans were.

在朝韓峰會上，兩位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人沒有詳細(xì)說明舉辦奧運(yùn)會的具體城市，也沒有說明后續(xù)計劃和進(jìn)展。

The International Olympic Committee traditionally does not announce host cities until sevenyears ahead of the games. That would give the Koreas until 2025 to put together a joint bid.

一般來說，國際奧委會要等到當(dāng)屆奧運(yùn)會前7年才會宣布主辦城市。這樣的話，朝韓雙方可以在2025年前共同申報。

Germany has already announced plans for a multi-city bid for 2032, as has Brisbane, Australia. The India Olympic Committee has also indicated its interest in hosting the 2032 Games.

德國以及澳大利亞的布里斯班已經(jīng)宣布了申辦2032年奧運(yùn)會的計劃。此外，印度奧委會也表示有意申辦2032年奧運(yùn)會。

A successful bid by the Koreas would mark the second time South Korea hosted or co-hosted the Summer Games, the first being 1988 in Seoul. South Korea also hosted the Pyeongchang Winter Games in February.

如果朝韓成功申辦奧運(yùn)會的話，將意味著韓國第二次舉辦夏季奧運(yùn)會，第一次是1988年的漢城夏季奧運(yùn)會。今年2月，韓國還舉辦了平昌冬季奧運(yùn)會。

Asia also features in the next two Olympics -- the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo and the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, which also hosted the summer version in 2008.

接下來的兩屆奧運(yùn)會也將在亞洲舉辦，分別是2020年的東京夏季奧運(yùn)會和2022年的北京冬季奧運(yùn)會。北京還曾于2008年舉辦過夏季奧運(yùn)會。
