The sun no longer rekindles the dying ashes.

I watch the withering of my hair

So I receive the autumn you adorn.

September’s frosty flower,

October’s frosty flower,

Beautiful woman of the mists,

Flowers over my temples.

Dressing up autumn leaves,

You are dressing up monotonous death,

Beautiful woman of the mists,

Come and place your white resplendent flower in my hair.

Do you still have pearly tears?

The sun cannot again rekindle the dead ashes.

I calmly observe the bareness of my temples,

Whereupon I greet you dressed-up autumn.
