Robert Burns

彭斯（Robert Burns，1759-1796），蘇格蘭最偉大的詩人，19世紀(jì)英國浪漫主義詩歌的先驅(qū)。他生于蘇格蘭農(nóng)民家庭，詩歌來自真實(shí)的農(nóng)民生活，一掃陳腐刻板的雕琢痕跡和文人氣息，抒寫了普通人的內(nèi)心感受，被當(dāng)時(shí)的人們譽(yù)為“自然的天才”。他的很多詩都用蘇格蘭民歌體寫成，語言自然質(zhì)樸，生動(dòng)活潑，優(yōu)美而輕松，有很強(qiáng)的節(jié)奏感，許多都可以配上樂曲而傳唱?！兑欢浼t紅的玫瑰》，《我的心在高原》等作品對(duì)蘇格蘭方言和民歌形式運(yùn)用自如，充分發(fā)揚(yáng)了蘇格蘭民間文學(xué)的口語風(fēng)格和音樂性。
