　　亞洲運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)簡稱亞運(yùn)會(huì)，是亞洲地區(qū)規(guī)模最大的綜合性運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)，每四年舉辦一屆，與奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)相間舉行。最初由亞洲運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)聯(lián)合會(huì)主辦，1982年后由亞洲奧林匹克理事會(huì)主辦。自1951年第一屆始，迄今共舉辦了15屆。國際奧林匹克委員會(huì)承認(rèn)亞洲運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)為正式的亞洲地區(qū)運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)。
