[00:38.90]Listen to this conversation  betwwn two people.
[00:45.37]one who is calm and one who is nervous ...very vervous.
[00:52.53]Please,Jane.Tell me your secret!My secret?What secret?
[00:59.90]Jack,what are you talking about?
[01:04.34]Tell me why you're always calm.
[01:08.49]I'm never calm.But someday I hope to be as calm as you are.
[01:15.05]As calm as I am?Oh,Jack,I'm not as calm as a lot of people.
[01:22.49]And something I get very nervous.
[01:27.56]You nervous?Well,you're not as nervous as I am now.
[01:33.41]And you're nerver as nerwous as I am.all the time.
[01:39.08]Oh,Jack,Really!Now say if these sentences are true or false.

[03:12.81]spelled w-h-o-s-e and the quetion word who's spelled w-h-o apostrophe s?
[03:28.98]They both have the same pronunciation,
[03:34.75]whose---who's but the spelling is different.
[03:41.70]Also,w-h-o-s-e is used in front of a noun,like whose book or whose initials.
[03:55.78]w-h-o apostrophe s means "who is"Who's the boss?means"who is the boss?"
[04:08.45]Now you're going to hear some.sentences which start with either
[04:14.41] w-h-o-s-e or w-h-o  apostrophe s.
[04:24.44]After each question,spell the question word.
[04:30.71]Then you will hear the correct spelling.
[04:34.96]For example you hear,Who's the reporter in Murder at Midnight?
[04:44.63]And you say:W-h-o apostrophe s.
[04:52.08]Then you will hear the correct spelling:

[06:15.75]This is called "falling intonation."
[06:21.99]For example at the end of a statement:Maybe he went home.
[06:30.03]Or at the end of a question that you can't  answer with only"Yes.or NO
[06:37.90]Whose is it?But when you can answer a question with "Yes or No"
[06:45.76]the voice goes up at the end.This is called rising intonation."For example
