“Project 21 t”and“Project 985”.With a history of nearly a hundred years，China Agricultural University has developed into a comprehensive university with agriculture as its characteristic and advantage，offering a group of disciplines such as agriculture and life science，resource and environment science，information and computer science，agricultural engineering and automation scienceeconomic administration and social science.

學校共設(shè)有13個學院，涉及農(nóng)學、工學、理學、經(jīng)濟學、管理學法學、文學、醫(yī)學、哲學等九大學科門類;設(shè)有研究生院和繼續(xù)教育學院學校擁有19個國家級重點學科，14個部級重點學科一;10個博士后流動站;2個國家級重點實驗室，18個部級重點實驗室;4個國家級研究中心，9個部級研究中心。

The university has t3 schools involved in 9 programs:agriculture，engineering，science，economics，management，law，literature，medicine，philosophy，apart from a school of postgraduates and a school of continual education. CAU is now has 19 state key disciplines，14 ministry key disciplines，10 post doctorate stations.2 state key laboratories，18 ministry key laboratories，4 state research centers and 9 ministry research centers.

中國農(nóng)業(yè)大學現(xiàn)有2737余位專職教師，其中中國科學院院士5人中國工程院院士5人，教授286人、副教授504人，“長江學者獎勵計劃”特聘教授13人，“國家杰出青年科學基金”18人。中國農(nóng)業(yè)大學擁有11個博士學位授權(quán)一級學科，61個博士學位授權(quán)點，96個碩士學位授權(quán)點;60個本科專業(yè)。

1905年京師大學堂農(nóng)科大學成立。

1905 Agriculture Science University of Jing Shi Da Xue Tang(the Metropolitan University was founded.

1949年北京大學農(nóng)學院一、清華大學農(nóng)學院和華北大學農(nóng)學院合并為北京農(nóng)業(yè)大學

1949 Agriculture College of Beijing University，University，and Agriculture college of North China University merged to form Beijing Agricultu University

1952年北京農(nóng)業(yè)人學農(nóng)業(yè)機械系與華北農(nóng)業(yè)機械?？茖W校、中央農(nóng)業(yè)部機耕學校，合并成立北京機械化農(nóng)業(yè)學院。

1952 Agriculture Machinery Department of Beijing Agricultural University，North China Agriculture Machinery Academy，and Machine Planting College of the ministry of Agriculture

1953年北京機械化農(nóng)業(yè)學院更名為北京農(nóng)業(yè)機械化學院。

1953 Beijing merged to form Beijing Machinery Agriculture College.Machinery Agriculture College was renamed Beijing Agricultural Machinery College

1985年北京農(nóng)業(yè)機械化學院更名為北京農(nóng)業(yè)工程大學。

1985 Beijing Agricultural Machinery College was renamed Beijing Agriculture Engineering University.

1995年北京農(nóng)業(yè)大學與北京農(nóng)業(yè)工程大學合并成立中國農(nóng)業(yè)大學。

1995 Beijing Agricultural University and Beijing Agriculture Engineering University merged to fiorm China Agricultural University.
