大家可能注意到了，這首歌中用到很多次Blue.
在中文里，這只是個顏色詞，但在英語里，
這個詞有更多的含義。
首先，它指顏色，藍色；
其次，表示一種音樂，稱為(美國黑人)布魯斯歌曲的，
布魯斯樂曲風格的音樂；
最后還有心情憂郁的意思。
當作動詞時還表示“把...弄藍”等意思。

Timbaland中譯名“提姆巴蘭”，原名蒂莫西·莫斯利（Timothy Z. Mosley），美國著名流行音樂制作人，說唱歌手，詞曲創(chuàng)作人。是Snoop Dogg、Destiny's Child、Jay-Z、Nelly Furtado、Justin Timberlake、Pussycat Dolls等人爭相邀約合作發(fā)展的對象，被譽為當今全球流行排行榜冠軍制造機。現(xiàn)已有多張高銷量唱片，合作專輯，以及眾多全球排行冠軍曲。格萊美得獎音樂制作人Timbaland崛起于90年代末期，是一個真正意義上的暢銷單曲締造者，來自britishhitsongwriters網(wǎng)站的數(shù)據(jù)稱，若按照制作的歌曲在榜單上的成績統(tǒng)計，Timbaland是英國流行音樂榜有史以來排名第22位的成功編曲人。很少有嘻哈音樂制作人能像Timbaland一樣在商業(yè)化和制作水準中找到如此的平衡點，Timbaland合作的藝人幾乎是清一色的大牌，諸如Missy Elliott、Aaliyah、Jay-Z、Ginuwine、Ludacris、Snoop Dogg、Nas和Justin Timberlake等，而一些名氣稍小的歌手或者新人也通過他的制作取得了音樂生涯中的重大突破，最典型的例子是Petey Pablo、Bubba Sparxxx和Tweet等。　　

Timbaland從出道到兩千年早期的作品，特別是他自己的說唱專輯里都很少用到取樣，這對一個嘻哈音樂制作人來說是很大的挑戰(zhàn)。2002-03年開始，由于邀約過多，Timbaland逐漸開始增多了自己采樣的頻率，到了2006-07年左右，像他為Fabolous制作的“Make Me Better”和為Nelly Furtado制作的“Promiscuous”都成了一段取樣加上一個鼓組的簡化程序。不過，Timbaland的制作仍是歌手拿到排行榜佳績的最佳選擇之一，與此同時，Timbaland也逐漸開始為嘻哈音樂之外的藝人諸如Bjork、Ashlee Simpson、OneRepublic和Shakira等各類藝人制作歌曲，擴展了自己的業(yè)務范圍。

關于歌曲《Apologize》的爭議與解釋
　　不少中國的樂迷們始終搞不清《Apologize》這首歌到底是誰的：Timbaland？還是OneRepublic？很顯然一些初次接觸這兩位（組）藝人的樂迷朋友因此產(chǎn)生了一定的誤會.那就在此說明：《Apologize》的原創(chuàng)與演唱是美國搖滾新貴天團OneRepublic的杰作。在這支樂隊還是無名小卒時，樂隊主唱Ryan Tedder就寫成了這首歌，并由其他成員演奏、伴唱等，如成員Brent Kurzle的大提琴演奏。后來經(jīng)過一番波折，音樂制作“大哥級人物”Timbaland發(fā)現(xiàn)了這支天才樂隊，于是召至麾下——Mosley Music Group。同時Tim也很喜歡OneRepublic樂隊的這首歌曲，于是便精心制作了混音，收錄在自己的《Shock Value》大碟中，OneRepublic也因此一炮而紅，《Apologize》也就開始了問鼎各國排行榜首的道路。后來OneRepublic作為Mosley Music Group旗下藝人發(fā)表了首張專輯《夢不落》（Dreaming Out Loud）特別加入了《Apologize》雙版本：樂隊制作原版，以及Tim特別混音版（即大家在電臺里大多聽到的所謂"Timbaland Feat. OneRepublic"的版本）。
