I have been writing short dialogues about my dog since he was a puppy. The intense affection I felt for this creature I could not communicate with inspired me to imagine the conversations we would have if I could.

自從我的狗還是一只小狗的時(shí)候，我就一直在寫關(guān)于它的簡(jiǎn)短對(duì)話。我對(duì)這個(gè)我無(wú)法與之交流的生物產(chǎn)生了強(qiáng)烈的感情，這激發(fā)了我的靈感，讓我想象如果我可以，我們會(huì)有怎樣的對(duì)話。

Recently I realized that the huge collection of stuff I had written might actually entertain other people. The problem was they were kind of boring to look at in text form, they needed to be brought to life, to have the same energy and verve as my actual dog.
