　　A. 常用contents的情況

　　1. 指包、袋、箱子、容器等里面的物體(the contents of a box, bag, bottle building, room, etc)時，一般用contents。例如：

　　The contents of the chest proved them wrong.

　　海底沉箱內的物品證明他們弄錯了。

　　Now cups say, “caution, contents are hot”.

　　現在紙杯上都印有“內有熱飲，小心燙口”的字樣。

　　2. 指書或雜志的目錄(a list at the beginning of a book or magazine)時，一般用contents。例如：

　　I can't find it in the contents.

　　我在目錄當中找不到。

　　B. 常用content的情況

　　用于名詞之后指“容量、含量”.(amount of sth contained in sth else)時。一般用content。例如:

　　the silver content of coin

　　硬幣中銀的含量

　　food with a high content fat

　　脂肪含量高的食物

　　C. 二者都可使用的情況

　　1. 雖然都可以用，但建議用content的情況

　　the content of the website/show/essay/meeting/article/one's character

　　網站/演出/論文/會議/文章/個性的內容

　　2. 雖然都可以用，但建議用contents的情況

　　the contents of the letter/document

　　信/文件的內容

　　注意：
