情態(tài)動詞 must 和 have to

(1)情態(tài)動詞 must 和 have to 都有“必須”的意思，但have to 表示客觀的需要，而must表示說話人主觀上的看法，認為有義務(wù)、有必要去做某事

My little brother was very ill, so I had to call a doctor.

我弟弟病得厲害，我只得請醫(yī)生了。（客觀需要做）

She said that she must work hard to get a high mark.

她說她必須得努力學(xué)習(xí)得高分。（主觀需要做）

(2)have to 有人稱、數(shù)、時態(tài)的變化，而must只有一種形式

He has to do it. 他必須得做。

I had to look after my brother because of his illness.我得照顧我弟弟，因為他病了。

(3)have to和must的否定

have to需要有助動詞do/did/does的幫助才能表示其否定式，其否定式為doesn't /didn't /don't have to, 表示“不必”；而must的否定式是mustn't, 表示“禁止”，例如：

You don't have to tell her about it. 你不一定要把此事告訴她。

You mustn't tell her about it. 你一定不要把這件事告訴她。
