Where are you running offto? 你要出走，去哪里？
I’m not running. 我不是出走！
That day, 那一天沒什么特別原因
I decided to go for a little run. 我決定小跑一下
So I ran to the end of the road, 跑到路的盡頭，到達之時 心想還是跑到鎮(zhèn)的邊緣
and when I got there, I thought maybe I’d run to the end of town.
(TV) President Carter, suffering from heat exhaustion--
And when I got there, 我到那里時 又想不如橫越了格林鮑縣
I thought maybe I’d just run across Greenbow County.
Now, I figured since I’d run this far, 又想到既然跑了這么遠
maybe I’d just run across the great state of Alabama. 干脆跑步橫越阿拉巴馬州
And that’s what I did. 我真的做了，橫越阿拉巴馬
I ran clear across Alabama.
No particular reason. I just kept on going. 沒特別的原因，我一直往前跑
I ran clear to the ocean. 我跑到大海洋

And when I got there, 到了那里我又想既然跑到這里
I figured since I’d gone this far,
might as well turn around, just keep on going. 我索性回頭再跑下去
And when I got to another ocean,
I figured since I’d gone this far... 到了另一個海洋
心想已跑了這么遠
I might as well just turn back 干脆回頭繼續(xù)地跑
and keep right on going.
when I got tired, I slept. 跑累了我就睡，餓了就吃
when I got hungry, I ate.
When I had to go... 必須上洗手間的時候

And so...
I went. 所以你就一直跑？
you just ran.

on his journey across America,

is about to cross the Mississippi River again today. 今天要再度橫度密西西比河
I’ll be damned. Forrest? 天啊！弗勒斯…
Sir, where are you running?
Are you doing this for world peace? 為什么跑步？
是為無家可歸的人而跑嗎？
Are you doing this for the homeless? 是為了世界和平而跑嗎？
Are you running for women’s rights? 是為婦女權利而跑嗎？
The environment? -還是為環(huán)保而跑？ -為保護動物？
they just couldn’t believe 他們就是不相信… 有人會沒理由的跑
that Somebody would do all that running
for no particular reason. 你為什么要跑？
Why are you doing this? 我就是喜歡跑
I just felt like running.
I just felt like runnin’. 我就是想跑！
