To Suffer More, or Not?
是要辛苦些，還是不要那么辛苦？

David：What’s your major?你學(xué)的什么專業(yè)？
You：英語。English.
David：What year are you in?幾年級了？
You：I am in Grade Four this year. 今年四年級。
David：In the United States, each university year has a different name: freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior.在美國，每個年級都有不同的名稱：freshman、sophomore、junior和senior。
You：I don’t like to suffer more than I need to. Many students suffer from the heavy workload. 我不喜歡上二年級。學(xué)生在那一年里特別辛苦。
David：Suffer? I mean sophomore, not suffer more. I am saying the second year: sophomore. Oh, maybe you suffer every year?辛苦？我是說sophomore（二年級學(xué)生），不是suffer more（更辛苦）。二年級學(xué)生稱為“sophomore”。你是不是每年都很辛苦呢？
You：That is what I mean. But I like this year better than others. We don’t have any schoolwork, and we can study on our own. 是的，不過今年好多了。最后一年沒什么學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。我們可以做我們想做的事情。
David：I think many students , English majors in particular, look for language exchange partners. How about you? 我覺得似乎很多學(xué)生（尤其是英語專業(yè)的學(xué)生）會找外國留學(xué)生相互學(xué)習(xí)。你呢？
You：我不大喜歡。
David：Oh. 哦。
