　　1、 I don't ever want to have the effect on a person that this person had on me, where i was just blown away by disappointment. It took a few years to get over it.

　　翻譯為：一般so...that是如此...以至于...的意思，這里上下句不是因果關(guān)系: 變得糟糕的是，他既沒有辭職也沒有被解雇。后半句that he either quit or got fired是so bad的補充狀語從句，補充說明so bad的細(xì)節(jié)，不要太拘泥語法結(jié)構(gòu)，更應(yīng)該注重的是：1.英語語序特征，2.英語國家的人的邏輯思維特征。

　　建議：不要從語法分析著手來學(xué)習(xí)英語，因為這樣效果很差。最好是提高閱讀量，讓一切語法變?yōu)槔硭?dāng)然的事情，讓記憶單詞成為閱讀時的副產(chǎn)品。
