七、同位語(yǔ)

1.同位語(yǔ)的構(gòu)成

（1）名詞作同位語(yǔ)

Mr Smith，our new teacher ，is very kind to us.

我們的新老師史密斯先生對(duì)我們很好。

Yesterday I met Tom，a friend of my brother’s. 昨天我遇到了我弟弟的朋友湯姆。

（2）代詞作同位語(yǔ)

We can all speak English.我們都會(huì)講英語(yǔ)。

Have you each handed in a picture to me？ 你們每人都交繪畫給我了嗎？

（3）數(shù)詞作同位語(yǔ)

You may leave it to us two .你可以把這件事交給我們兩個(gè)。

Then we three began to prepare for the trip.接著，我們?nèi)碎_(kāi)始為那次行程做準(zhǔn)備。

（4）形容詞作同位語(yǔ)

He read all kinds of books，ancient and modern，Chinese and foreign .

他讀過(guò)各種各樣的古今中外的書籍。

People here，old and young ，supported the project.這兒的老少都支持這項(xiàng)工程。

（5）動(dòng)名詞作同位語(yǔ)

I’m looking for a job，repairing cars .我在找一份修車的工作。

He enjoys the exercise，swimming in winter .他喜歡冬泳這項(xiàng)運(yùn)動(dòng)。

（6）不定式作同位語(yǔ)

Soon came the order to start the general attack.很快下達(dá)了總攻命令。

The question what to do next hasn’t been considered.下一步干什么還未考慮。

（7）從句作同位語(yǔ)

Where did you get the idea that I could not come ？ 你在哪兒聽(tīng)說(shuō)我不能來(lái)？

Give me your promise that you will come to our party this evening .

答應(yīng)我，你今天晚上會(huì)來(lái)參加我們的晚會(huì)。

2.同位語(yǔ)的引導(dǎo)方式

（1）同位語(yǔ)通常用逗號(hào)與其所修飾的先行詞隔開(kāi)，表示一種普通的同位關(guān)系。

This is Mr Black，director of our hospital.這是布萊克先生，我們醫(yī)院院長(zhǎng)。

（2）用破折號(hào)或冒號(hào)引導(dǎo)同位語(yǔ)。

The orphan’s daily necessities — clothes，food，etc.— are supplied by a kind-hearted teacher.這個(gè)孤兒的衣食等日常必需品由好心的老師提供。

（3）有時(shí)同位語(yǔ)前可加especially，for example，in short，mainly，namely，that is，in particular，in other words，such as等引導(dǎo)詞。

He is interested in sports，especially ball games .他喜歡運(yùn)動(dòng)，特別是球類運(yùn)動(dòng)。

A lot of people here，for example，John ，would rather have coffee.

這里許多人，例如約翰，寧愿喝咖啡。
