2022考研英語閱讀解題思路：猜詞題

　　猜詞題解題思路

　　該題型在每年的考研英語真題中考查并不多，通常是一題或兩題。但是其解題思路有著固定的規(guī)律可循，還是比較容易得分的題目。首先猜詞題的題干是很容易識(shí)別的，要求猜測的單詞或句子會(huì)用引號(hào)標(biāo)出，而且會(huì)在原文劃線標(biāo)識(shí)出。比如：The word “gizmos” (Line 1, Paragraph 2) most probably means ___. By saying “Stratford cries poor traditionally”, the author implies that___.下面以真題為例解讀一下猜詞的過程。

　　As a result, the modern world is increasingly populated by intelligent gizmos whose presence we barely notice but whose universal existence has removed much human labor. Our factories hum to the rhythm of robot assembly arms. Our banking is done at automated teller terminals that thank us with mechanical politeness for the transaction. Our subway trains are controlled by tireless robot-drivers.

　　解析：題目要求猜測首句中“gizmos”的含義，根據(jù)首句中的定語從句whose presence we barely notice but whose universal existence has removed much human labor.可以得知，這種東西的存在很少被注意到，但是它們卻減少了很多的人類勞動(dòng)。根據(jù)這個(gè)特點(diǎn)還不足以判斷出是什么東西。所以繼續(xù)順延看下文，出現(xiàn)了三個(gè)舉例：Our factories hum to the rhythm of robot assembly arms. 我們的工廠里轟鳴著機(jī)器人組裝臂的聲音;Our banking is done at automated teller terminals that thank us with mechanical politeness for the transaction.我們的銀行業(yè)務(wù)也是被自動(dòng)出納終端完成;Our subway trains are controlled by tireless robot-drivers.地鐵由不知疲倦的機(jī)器人駕駛員操作。由這些舉例可以總結(jié)出，這類東西應(yīng)該是機(jī)器設(shè)備。所以答案選擇[C] devices設(shè)備裝置。其他選項(xiàng)[A] programs程序[B] experts專家[D] creatures生物，都不具備機(jī)器的含義，可以完全排除。

　　考研英語閱讀中的猜詞題是考生需要重點(diǎn)掌握的一類題型，因?yàn)椴略~的方法不緊可以幫助我們解決猜詞題，還有助于化解閱讀文章遇到的很多詞匯障礙。做對(duì)題并不一定意味著我們要背會(huì)每一個(gè)單詞，有時(shí)候單詞的含義是可以根據(jù)上下文推測出來的，還有時(shí)候某個(gè)單詞不認(rèn)識(shí)并不影響做對(duì)題。所以提醒考研學(xué)子們既要注重知識(shí)的積累，也要注重方法能力的訓(xùn)練與提升。
