電子競(jìng)技首次亮相亞運(yùn)會(huì)

For many Chinese esports players, it’s a dream come true to see esports appear at a major global athletic event.

對(duì)于不少中國(guó)電競(jìng)玩家而言，電子競(jìng)技亮相國(guó)際大型體育賽事簡(jiǎn)直是夢(mèng)想成真。

For the first time, esports appeared at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia, as a demonstration sport, which was held from Aug 18 to Sept 2. There are even plans to make esports an official medal event at the 2022 Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou.

在8月18日-9月2日的2018印尼雅加達(dá)亞運(yùn)會(huì)上，電子競(jìng)技作為表演項(xiàng)目首次登場(chǎng)。而在2022杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)上，電子競(jìng)技將成為正式比賽項(xiàng)目。

There were six games played this time: Arena of Valor, League of Legends (LOL), Pro Evolution Soccer, Clash Royale, StarCraft II and Hearthstone.

共有6個(gè)項(xiàng)目成為雅加達(dá)亞運(yùn)會(huì)表演項(xiàng)目，分別是《王者榮耀國(guó)際版》《英雄聯(lián)盟》《實(shí)況足球2018》《皇室戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)》《星際爭(zhēng)霸2：虛空之遺》《爐石傳說》。

For esports players, this could be a chance for them to show that they could be just like athletes of other sports.

對(duì)于電競(jìng)選手而言，這或許是一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)，證明自己和其他體育項(xiàng)目選手無異。

“Sport doesn’t mean you must sweat. Gaming uses a lot of mental skill rather than physical,” Lee Sang-hyeok, a South Korean professional LOL player, told Reuters.

“體育運(yùn)動(dòng)并不意味著就得流汗。游戲使用的是心智技能而非身體技能，”韓國(guó)《英雄聯(lián)盟》游戲職業(yè)選手李相赫在接受路透社采訪時(shí)表示。

“It takes a lot of mental strength and requires a lot of effort and tough training, so I think esports could be even tougher than any other sports.”

“玩電競(jìng)要有強(qiáng)大的腦力，而且還需要很多努力和艱苦的訓(xùn)練，所以我認(rèn)為電競(jìng)甚至比其他運(yùn)動(dòng)項(xiàng)目更難。”

It was because of the popularity with young people that esports was included in the Asian Games, reported Japan Times.

據(jù)《日本時(shí)報(bào)》報(bào)道，電競(jìng)在年輕人中大受歡迎，從而進(jìn)入了亞運(yùn)會(huì)。

“Esports is a popular trend among young people. We can never cut this connection with the young,” Wei Jizhong, Olympic Council of Asia honorary president, told China Daily. The International Olympic Committee is also considering including esports in the Olympic Games to attract young audiences.

“電競(jìng)是年輕人中的一大流行趨勢(shì)。我們不能在這方面和年輕人脫節(jié)，”亞洲奧林匹克理事會(huì)終身名譽(yù)副主席魏紀(jì)中在接受《中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)》采訪時(shí)表示。國(guó)際奧林匹克委員會(huì)也正考慮將電子競(jìng)技納入奧運(yùn)會(huì)項(xiàng)目，以吸引年輕人。

Many young Chinese people are also fans of esports. According to the 2017 Blue Book of China’s Society, released by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, more than 38 percent of Chinese people younger than 26 said their ideal job would be to work as a professional esports player.

不少中國(guó)年輕人也是電競(jìng)迷。據(jù)中國(guó)社科院發(fā)布的2017年《社會(huì)藍(lán)皮書》顯示， 26歲以下中國(guó)青年有超過38%的人稱自己的理想職業(yè)是電子游戲玩家。

However, it’s not as easy as it sounds. “To be a professional esports player, it requires both talent and a large amount of practice to stand out among many others,” Wu Meng, 26, a Sichuan University graduate who used to be a professional Hearthstone player, told TEENS.

然而，一切并沒有聽起來那么簡(jiǎn)單。畢業(yè)于四川大學(xué)的吳蒙，今年26歲，他曾是一位《爐石傳說》游戲職業(yè)選手，在接受本報(bào)采訪時(shí)他表示，“成為職業(yè)電競(jìng)選手需要天賦和大量的練習(xí)，才能從人群中脫穎而出。”

For students who want to be a professional esports player, Wu suggested to think differently. “Esports is about competing to realize your own value, while playing electronic games is about entertainment and relaxation,” he said.

對(duì)于想要成為職業(yè)電競(jìng)選手的學(xué)生，吳蒙建議要換種方式去思考。“電子競(jìng)技是通過比賽實(shí)現(xiàn)自身價(jià)值，而玩電子游戲則是一種娛樂和放松，”他表示。

“Some top esports players flourish and succeed, while many average players are forced to give up halfway. But if you’re gifted and determined to be a professional esports player, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to be the next champion of esports at the Asian Games.”

“一些頂尖的電競(jìng)選手事業(yè)有成，而也有許多一般的選手不得不中途放棄。但如果你有天分，又堅(jiān)定地想要成為一名職業(yè)電競(jìng)選手，或許下一個(gè)在亞運(yùn)會(huì)上獲得電競(jìng)項(xiàng)目冠軍的幸運(yùn)兒就是你。”
