Nancy：Victor，this is an important phrase to know. Usually in the west when two friends go out to dinner， they split the check.

Nancy：This means they each pay half， or they pay for what they had.

Nancy：But when someone says， “it’s on me，” it means， “I’m going to pay for you.”
