We work out together.

我們一起去做運(yùn)動(dòng)。

This means you have a friend that you go to the gym with， or maybe go running with.

自己去運(yùn)動(dòng)當(dāng)然沒(méi)什么意思啦，叫上幾個(gè)朋友去健身房就大大的不同。

But usually work out means the gym.

通常work out都是指去健身房的意思。

This is important—if you work out with a friend， you’re more likely to actually go do it.

和朋友一起健身，不但可以有人聊天，而且可以經(jīng)常比較一下健身的效果，真的是非常棒?？次乙簧淼募∪猓褪莣ork out的結(jié)果。
