跨國IT公司“大裁員”

進入2014年以來，IT行業(yè)不斷傳出裁員的消息。今年7月，微軟宣布在未來一年裁員1.8萬人;5月底，惠普在發(fā)布2014年財年第二季度財報時，宣布再度裁員1.6萬人。近日，世界軟件巨頭思科也宣布將裁員6000人。

Cisco Systems has announced a plan for global job cuts, while thousands of Microsoft employees in China are trying to negotiate a deal for better compensation following layoffs.

思科公司宣布全球裁員計劃，而數(shù)千名微軟中國區(qū)的員工正在努力協(xié)商出更好的裁員賠償方案。

“裁員”或者“裁減工作崗位”都可用job cuts或layoff來表示，動詞形式就是to cut jobs或者to lay someone off;在英國，則多用redundancy表示，比如，Thousands of bank employees are facing redundancy as their employers cut costs. (銀行削減成本，數(shù)千名銀行職工面臨裁員。)那么被裁的員工拿到的“裁員補償”就是layoff compensation或者redundancy payments。

裁員過程中，勞資糾紛(labor dispute)自然不可避免。目前，微軟裁員崗位大部分涉及今年剛剛收購的諾基亞員工，而雙方對裁員補償標準不能達成一致。據(jù)悉，微軟要求被裁的諾基亞員工在8月22日簽署“協(xié)商離職協(xié)議”(Severance Agreement)，否則微軟將單方面強制裁員。
