Eddiction is an addiction to electronic devices such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets. Eddiction is characterized by the constant need to check your smartphone for the latest Facebook posts, Twitter updates, news, etc. People with eddiction prefer spending time browsing the Internet over social interaction.

Eddiction指對筆記本電腦、智能手機(jī)和平板等電子設(shè)備的上癮癥，即“電子設(shè)備上癮癥”。其特點是，不停地在智能手機(jī)上刷新臉書、推特等社交網(wǎng)站的信息和新聞等行為?；加性撋习a癥的人寧愿拿著手機(jī)長時間上網(wǎng)，也不愿意出去參加社交活動。

For example:

Tom is suffering from eddiction. He cannot stop updating his Twitter account and sharing pictures on Instagram. Whenever you see him, there is a smartphone in his hand.
