中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平8月26日向中國人民警察隊(duì)伍授旗并致訓(xùn)詞。他指出，我國人民警察為維護(hù)國家安全、社會(huì)穩(wěn)定、人民利益作出了重大貢獻(xiàn)。實(shí)踐證明，我國人民警察是一支黨和人民完全可以信賴的有堅(jiān)強(qiáng)戰(zhàn)斗力的隊(duì)伍。

President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, on August 26 conferred the police flag on China's police force. Addressing the ceremony, Xi lauded the major contributions made by the Chinese police to safeguarding national security, social stability and people's interests, calling them a mighty force that can be fully trusted by the Party and the people.

在中國人民警察警旗授旗儀式上，習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，我國人民警察是國家重要的治安行政和刑事司法力量，主要任務(wù)是維護(hù)國家安全，維護(hù)社會(huì)治安秩序，保護(hù)公民人身安全、人身自由、合法財(cái)產(chǎn)，保護(hù)公共財(cái)產(chǎn)，預(yù)防、制止、懲治違法犯罪。習(xí)近平對(duì)人民警察隊(duì)伍提出4點(diǎn)要求，一是對(duì)黨忠誠，二是服務(wù)人民，三是執(zhí)法公正，四是紀(jì)律嚴(yán)明。
