2--Thank you, Mr. Jackson, ladies and gentlemen, colleagues, friends. The subject of my talk is international relations in a morden world. I plan to say a few words about the current situation in the Middle East and how it affects world economy. I'd like to give you an overview of the way that the economies of seemingly unrelated countries are intertwined. I've divided my talk into three parts: first an overview of international relations, second a discussion of current political situatioins, and lastly trends for the future. My presentation will take about two hours, but there will be a twenty-minute break in the middle. We'll stop for lunch at 12:00.

2--謝謝你,杰克遜先生,女士們,先生們,各位同仁和朋友們.我要講的話題是現(xiàn)代社會中的國際關系.我計劃講一下中東目前的局勢,以及對世界經濟的影響.我先讓你們大概了解一下,有些國家表面上不相干但實際上其經濟是糾結在一起的.我的講話內容分成三部分:第一部分綜述國際關系,第二部分討論目前的政治局勢,最后談談未來的發(fā)展趨勢.我的講話大約需要2個小時,但中間會休息20分鐘.我們12點結束,然后去吃午餐.
