1.Venture capital (noun) Money available to invest in a new business 風險資本

如：Venture capital is exciting because it’s risky; you don’t know for sure that a business will be successful

風險投資因為其存在的風險性，讓人為之振奮，到那時不能保證事情一定可以成功。

2.Human Resources (noun) The people employed in a company 人力資源

如：The Human Resources department is recruiting three new secretaries

人事部招了3個新員工。

3.A vacancy (noun) An unoccupied place, for example in a place of work 空缺

如：There’s a vacancy for a chef in the restaurant where I work; why don’t you apply?

我工作的飯店，現(xiàn)在正在招聘廚師，你干嘛不試試?

4.To run (verb) To be in charge of something 管理

如：I think I could run the company better than my boss!

我覺得我比我們老板更會管理公司。

5. A nightmare (noun) A bad dream 噩夢

如：I had a terrible nightmare last night; I woke up crying
